Custom web applications

Web development
Custom web apps, business websites and internal tools — designed, built and shipped by one freelance developer who stays on the project from the first call to launch day. Based in Tirana, working with clients across Albania and Europe.
Dashboards, booking systems, client portals and internal tools — the software a business runs on. React or Next.js on the front, Node.js and a real database behind it.
Fast, accessible sites built around the content you actually have, not a template you have to fill. Semantic markup and structured data from the first line.
REST APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, third-party services. When two systems need to talk to each other, this is the layer that makes it happen reliably.
Product catalogues, checkout flows, Stripe payments and order management — built so you can run the shop yourself once it is live.
Plenty of web work in Albania is quoted cheap and delivered as a template nobody can maintain. These are the things I treat as part of the job rather than as extras on an invoice.
Process
Four stages, each one ending with something you can look at and react to.
A call to work out what the site has to do, who it is for and what success looks like. You leave with a fixed quote and a timeline.
Layout and interface decisions made against real content, reviewed with you before a line of production code is written.
Built in milestones on a staging URL you can open any time, so you are never waiting in the dark.
Domain, HTTPS, analytics and deployment configured. Then a support window for anything that surfaces in real use.
Portfolio
Sites and platforms running in production for real organisations.
Youth organisation platform — events, clubs, intake forms & an admin panel.

Educational foundation portal — programs, scholarships & institutional presence online.

Storm protection & outdoor living site for a Miami company — shutters, pergolas & awnings.

Bilingual villa rental & property management platform in Tuscany — built with Next.js.
See how it was builtReact and Next.js for interfaces, because server rendering means pages arrive fast and Google can read them without waiting for JavaScript. Node.js for APIs, so the same language runs on both ends and there is less to hold in your head. Firebase or PostgreSQL for data, chosen per project rather than by habit.
None of this is fashion. It is a stack with a large hiring pool and long-term support, which matters on the day you want someone other than me to pick the project up. You can see the full set on the tech stack section of the home page.
FAQ
The things clients ask before we start.
It depends on what the site has to do. A brochure site for a small business is a very different job from a booking platform with accounts and payments. After a short call I send a fixed quote broken down by what is included, so there is no moving target once work starts.
A focused business site is usually a matter of weeks. A web application with user accounts, a database and third-party integrations takes longer, and I break it into milestones so you see working software early rather than waiting for one big reveal at the end.
Rarely, and only when a client genuinely needs non-technical people editing content daily. For most projects a hand-built site is faster, more secure and cheaper to run, because there are no plugins to update and nothing to get hacked.
Yes. Most Albanian web traffic is mobile, so I build and test on small screens first and widen from there — not the other way round. Layout, tap targets and load time are all checked on real phone viewports.
Yes. I set up hosting, connect your domain, configure HTTPS and put automatic deployment in place, so publishing an update is one step. You own every account — I just configure them.
Often, yes. If the foundation is sound I can fix performance, mobile layout, accessibility and SEO on what you already have. If the codebase is fighting you at every change, I will say so honestly rather than bill you for patching it.
